Sofie1998
Sofie1998 is the name of the personal solo project run by Sofie Bach. Almost every song is written in her room or on the bus and everything is recorded and produced in her bedroom. With heart and soul Sofie writes songs about what’s on her heart and mind. Whether it’s vulnerable or powerful, heartbreakingly true, poetic or silly it makes it to the danish lyrics. The soundscape of Sofie1998’s music is modern and she is influenced by especially the american RnB, pop and hip hop scene that stands close to her heart. Furthermore, she embraces her history and cultural uprising with european classical girls choir music which she grew up singing. Sofie is from Herning but currently based in Copenhagen.
Sofie1998 is out with her single-debut “FOR X”.
