Based on a web of iPhone notes about heartache, sisterhood, sex and anxiety, front woman Solvig Tora Ringhof creates a lyrical universe for VAKT that twists and turns the Danish language. VAKT is poetic pop music, moving freely between contrasting sounds of coolness and warmth as well as electronic and organic textures. Through naitivity and vulnerability they strive towards creating something honest.

VAKT was formed in 2016 and their new music is a product of their strong friendship and an equal passion for the project.  

They are out with their debut-EP “Frisind” and a follow-up remixed version of this EP, feauturing some of their favourite artists, was released in the spring of 2023 -  at the moment VAKT are working on their first album.
