Martha Elisabeth
Martha Elisabeth's art pop draws threads from various genres, from
classical singer-songwriting, hard-hitting electronic music to more avant-garde
pop and RnB. Her experimental pop compositions are both a tribute
to the simple, but also to the magnificent.
Her textual universe
often moves in a balance between pain and love. Martha Elisabeth makes music
that pays homage to the contrasts, and in the meeting between
electronic elements, finger games and beautiful phrasings, a musical field of
tension arises that creates the perfect setting for Martha's very recognizable
vocals. Martha has a background in dance theater, which has created a special
focus on the corporeal and visual aspect, that especially comes to light on
stage
Martha Elisabeth released her EP “Lucy” in 2021, her single “Mad/Sad”
in May and her latest single “Mother (Lucy)” in december. Her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Is She Real?’ is out now
