SAGT PÆNT
Thomas Axelsen is the person behind SAGT PÆNT and the project is created as a cry to heaven with untold thoughts and feelings. The beginning of the music started on a trip to Lisbon, where he found himself writing his first Danish lyrics. That became the start of the project SAGT PÆNT, where his single ‘stjernekaster’ was created after an immerse period and made the groundwork for the projects musical identity. The debut single ‘stjernekaster’ was released in 2020 and short after followed by ‘fortæl mig om mig’.
Thomas Axelsen has always loved music and sought to work with it on a serious level. Besides being a solo artist, he also play drums for a variation of Danish artists.
SAGT PÆNT is electro-pop accompanied by an insisting and raw vocal, which finds its inspiration in the 10’s of indie-pop, magnificent indie-rock amongst electronica and house – all the above finding its roots in pure pop and the uncompromising dissemination of strong melodies and hooks. It’s pop music with mood swings.
SAGT PÆNT is released his single ‘sommerregn’ on Friday the 15th of April.
